Welcome to my Gallery Store!
Here's where you can find the answers to most of the questions you might have about my pottery, order process and shipping and store policies. If you have any additional questions, please drop me a note by email or on the contact page. Thank you for visiting Everyday Pottery.
About the pottery
Everyday pottery is exactly that - made to be used every day. All of my pottery is hand crafted and wheel thrown. It is strong, fired to a stoneware temperature of approximately 2232 degree F in an electric kiln. Stoneware pottery is suitable for oven and microwave use and is dishwasher safe. However, it should never be placed directly on a stove top or subjected to sudden extreme temperature changes such as refrigerator or freezer to a hot oven. All of my glazes have been carefully formulated for durability and beauty.
Shipping and Store Policies
Below are my shipping and store policies. Please take a look at them before purchasing and let me know if you have any questions.
Payment
Payment is to be made in advance by check or through PayPal (a safe, secure and easy way to pay online).
Residents of Maine will be charged our 5.5% sales tax. If you live in Maine, I'm happy to make an appointment for you to visit my studio in person to pick up purchased pieces and save on shipping expenses. Shipping
After an order is placed, I will figure the shipping cost, and taxes where applicable, and send an invoice by mail. Pots will generally be shipped within 2-3 business days. After shipping I will send you a tracking number. Orders will be sent by USPS or UPS unless otherwise requested.
Shipping costs cover only the cost of shipping which includes insurance and delivery confirmation, but may also include costs associated with packaging (pottery requires styrofoam peanuts, sturdy cardboard boxes and bubblewrap for safe travel). I recycle gently-used packing materials whenever possible to keep packing costs down. If your purchase is a gift, I am happy to ship directly to the recipient and include a card with your personal message. I am also happy to wrap gifts for a small fee. Refunds and Exchanges
Please notify me immediately regarding work damaged in shipping, so that it may be reported to USPS or UPS.
I want you to be happy with your purchase, so please contact me if you would like more information or more images prior to purchasing. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please email me within three days of receipt and we will work out an exchange or refund. The buyer is responsible for safe return of work and return shipping. Special Requests.
If you don't see what you want in the galleries, want a set or a different color, please contact me.
Note: I reserve the right to update these policies at any time
